WHAT IS SPELLSHOOTER?

SpellShooter is a new fun twist on the classic word game. Strategically shoot up your letter tiles to spell the highest scoring words you can think up! Try to spell as many words as you can without running out of room or time.

HOW DO YOU PLAY?

Shoot-Spell-Repeat! Shoot up letters one tile at a time. Once up, the goal is to spell words with them. Tiles will stick to the top wall or to tiles directly above them. You can bounce tiles off the side walls to get to hard to reach spots, so start practicing your aim.

To spell a word, each letter must be connected to the one before it, but words can be spelled in any direction. Once you spell a word, the tiles will drop off, making room for you to shoot up more tiles and spell some more!

Words must be at least three letters long to start. Sound easy? Just to keep it interesting, the longer you play, the longer the words must be.

To add to the excitement, if you leave tiles up for too long they might turn into ROCK BLOCKS. The only way to get rid of ROCK BLOCKS is to eliminate the tiles above them.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT GAME MODES?

*TIME IT!*
In a hurry? Race against the clock to see how many words you can make in 30, 60, or 90 seconds in TIME IT! mode.

*JUST PLAY*
Don’t like working under pressure? Take your time and see how many words you can create in the wide-open JUST PLAY mode. Don’t worry, we’ve thrown in some tricks just to keep it interesting...

*CLEAR ‘EM*
Are you a word master looking for a challenge? Test your skills in CLEAR ‘EM mode where we have already generously provided you with some tiles! To win, you must clear all the tiles. The fewer words it takes to clear the board, the higher your score will be!

WHEN DOES THE GAME END?

When the game ends depends on the particular mode you’re playing...

Regardless of mode, it’s game is over for you if the tiles build up below the dashed FOUL LINE. Be careful, in some modes, the FOUL LINE moves up on you the longer you play.

In the TIME IT! mode, the game is over when time runs out or the tiles pile up below the FOUL LINE, whichever comes first.
